Benji sneaks in to help Tigers win

Benji Marshall made a successful return from injury, playing the second half in the Wests Tigers' 20-10 victory over Souths Logan Queensland Cup team in Brisbane on Saturday.

Marshall wasn't expected to play in the match, but came on in the second half and landed a sideline conversion as the Tigers ran out comfortable victors.

It was the Kiwi international's first game since missing most of 2006 with a shoulder injury.

Marshall was ruled out of last week's Foundation Cup clash with the Sydney Roosters because doctors wanted to give his shoulder extra time, even though he had completed all that was asked of him in preseason training.

Tigers captain Brett Hodgson also made a successful return from a knee injury, joining Marshall on the field for the second half.

Dean Collis scored two tries for the Tigers while Bryce Gibbs and Chris Heighington also crossed.
