Peewee Moke - The next SBW?

Chances are you may not have heard his name. However this is all set to change in 2007.

Moke; solidly built and born in the country of Samoa - some NRL corners are talking of Moke in the same breath as Sonny Bill Williams.

There are some slight similarities between the two; both tall, solid lads with islander genes - they are both play in similar positions (although permanent moves to the forward pack in the future are highly likely) and they have the exciting ability of being able to bust tackles and offload at will. Moke plays most of his time in the centres, however he can comfortably cover lock and even five-eighth.

Moke, born Jan 12 1986 was scouted originally by the Roosters, he served his short apprenticeship there and moved on to the Cronulla Sharks soon after. Penrith came knocking and signed Moke for 2007, it's this year that many feel Moke will make the foray into first grade.
Matt Elliott continues to be impressed by Moke and he has predicted big things for the young player in 2007.

Tipping the scales at 98 kilo's the sky is the limit for this Panthers young gun - you won't forget the name and this poker loving Samoan seems to have quite a few aces up his sleeve.
